Monday Night Football Doubleheader ESPN at 6:55pm and 10:15pm

ESPN launches the new season of Monday Night Football with two interesting games. The early game features the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Washington Redskins, while the late game pits Houston Texans at the San Diego Chargers. Tune into ESPN at anytime leading up to the games for wall to wall RGIII coverage.

The Million Second Quiz NBC at 8pm

Obviously Ryan Seacrest isn’t happy with only being on television twice a week with American Idol. He needed another outlet for his energy, and now hosts this new overly promoted game show. From the previews it appears contestants sit in a reject chair from the set of “The Voice” and answer questions for as long as they can tolerate Seacrest’s voice.

Crossfire CNN at 6:30pm

The show killed by Jon Stewart’s savage wit returns with an all-new look to CNN. Since this decision coming from new CNN President Jeff Zucker we can expect fireworks and YouTube worthy clips early on. The hosts of the show are S.E. Cupp, Stephanie Cutter, Van Jones, and Newt Gingrich.

2013 U.S. Open Tennis, Men’s Final CBS at 5pm

Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal in the Men’s Final has enough fireworks and possible celebrity sightings to give Monday Night Football a run for its money.
