Fans of “Parks and Recreation” couldn’t be blamed if they started to ask what happened to their favorite show recently. The show has been MIA from the NBC lineup for the past month. The last new episode of the show aired on October 17th. For viewers who can’t even remember Halloween that’s an eternity. The good news is Leslie Knope and crew are back tonight and next week with back to back new episodes right in time for sweeps. The first episode tonight is titled “Filibuster”, and here’s what we know about it.

Leslie Knope running her own Ted Cruz like filibuster sounds like great fodder for an episode. With Leslie arriving to the city council meeting dressed in her best 80s costume, roller skates included, it seems that tonight’s”Parks and Recreation” could be worth the wait. The second episode of the night is tilted “Recall Vote”, Leslie is fighting off a ballot measure to recall her from the city council.
