Tonight’s all new episode of the hit CBS freshman comedy “The Millers” centers around the awkwardness of helping one’s own mom get into the world of online dating. It’s another great plot for Will Arnett’s Nathan and Margo Martindale’s Carol to explore. One of my favorite parts of the preview is when Carol puts down “Box Wine” as one of her interests on the dating website. According to the CBS synopsis of the episode there’s also an element of “Catfish” peppered through the episode. Carol would gut anyone who dared try to catfish her. Here’s the preview from CBS.
When Nathan helps Carol set up her profile on an internet dating site, he and Ray get so excited about one of her potential suitors, they start corresponding with him, pretending to be Carol.
Nathan and Ray trying to get that trademark Carol gruff down right should be interesting. The promo for tonight’s episode is filled of uncomfortable moments. Tonight’s all new episode also features Fred Dryer, best known from his years as “Hunter”, and the ladies of “The Talk”. With “The Big Bang Theory” now in its seventh season, CBS has to be pleased by the success of “The Millers”. There’s a high probability that the show will be asked to carry a night of its own in the next few years.
