The fourth season of the hit CBS’ comedy “Mike & Molly” continues to explore the trials and tribulations as Molly tries to transition from teacher to full time writer. A few weeks ago she rode along with Mike in the squad car to get a better sense of the life of a police officer. She even visited a funeral home with the hopes of retaining info to use in her book. Tonight’s all new episode finds her taking the next step, and finding a writing mentor.
Of course Molly finds that mentor in a writer who is shopping at the market for Thanksgiving at the same time she is there. The writer is played by Oscar winner Susan Sarandon. Let’s check out the official CBS synopsis for a little more insight into tonight’s episode.
Molly meets her literary idol, J.C. Small (Susan Sarandon), a cynic who advises her to write about things in her life that she wouldn’t want people to know. Meanwhile, Mike invites his mother over for dinner in an effort to cheer her up.
The happy go lucky Molly hanging out with the seen everything J.C. Small is a recipe for comedic fireworks. The promo for tonight’s show not only features Molly taking in the rage from Sarandon’s Small, but also a Thanksgiving meal for the ages. Can anyone say food fight?
