'Duck Dynasty' Christmas Special 2013: Preview, TV Info, & More

One of the most popular shows on television, A&E’s “Duck Dynasty”, tonight celebrates the Christmas season with an all new special from the Robertsons clan. If you are expecting a conventional “Charlie Brown” approach to the holiday season, then you haven’t watched “Duck Dynasty” before. Those expecting Phil to read “Twas the Night Before Christmas” covered in a red sweater will be disappointed. However if you are looking for a Christmas celebration unlike any you’ve seen before then tonight’s all new “Duck Dynasty”, titled “O Little Town of West Monroe” is for you. Here’s the synopsis of the Christmas Special from A&E.

The Robertsons perform a live nativity for their Church for Christmas, so the wives organize rehearsals to ensure that they pull off a great event. However, rehearsals get off to a bumpy start as the guys can’t stop sharing their opinions. In between rehearsals, Willie and Jase struggle to get their wives the perfect Christmas gifts and they unenthusiastically take Jep’s advice.

It’s rough to be the wife of a multimillionaire who can’t seem to find an appropriate Christmas gift for you. Also the vision of a Joseph and Mary sporting long beards in front of the local church is can’t miss. This is the fourth season of “Duck Dynasty”, so enjoy it while you can. We are only a year or so away until Uncle Si demands his own show. Until then get prepared for tonight’s show by watching the Robertsons tackle the holiday classic of “Jingle Bells”.
