The entire country might be moving into the happy holiday season, but not the “Shahs of Sunset”. The once tight group of friends has been slowly breaking apart this season. First there was MJ telling GG’s boyfriend Sean about GG kissing a guy at a party. That set off numerous yelling matches between the two with MJ refusing to admit she did anything wrong and GG bugging out her eyes in response. Besides those two there is now a growing rift between Mike and Reza. The two friends never should have entered into business together, and now they are feeling the repercussions of mixing business and pleasure.
Tonight’s all new episode of “Shahs” features even more fracturing among the group. Here’s the episode synopsis from Bravo.
Asa takes GG to Tai Chi to help cope with her anger issues and in the process she decides to finally come clean to Sean. Mike goes shopping for an engagement ring for Jessica, and Reza and Adam decide to host a housewarming party, but after recent events, Mike, GG, and Lilly are left off the guest list.
GG going to do Tai Chi with Asa looks to have centered her because in one of the previews from Bravo we get a glimpse of her coming clean finally to Sean. GG’s looked ridiculous denying the kiss, especially when it broke up her friendship with MJ. Let’s hope that once GG comes clean she and Sean can move on with their relationship, but i doubt that Sean will be forgiving when he finds out. Here”s the clip of a slurring GG admitting the truth.
The other shoe to drop this week is the relationship between Reza and Mike. While it has been breaking apart for weeks, the drama with Sasha seemed to push it over the edge. Reza and Adam throwing a housewarming party without inviting Mike is a direct response to Mike not allowing Reza on the gay pride float. Mike isn’t taking the slight well, and seems to have moved on to new friends. Check out this clip of Mike ripping into Reza while hanging out with his new guy pals.
Mike left a “thriving commerical real estate job” for Reza. Not sure exactly what that means, but it sounds really important. “Shahs” has always drawn strength from the group dynamic, but the producers have realized there is more strength in having everyone at each others throats. Be there tonight as the group breaks apart like arctic icebergs.
