‘Law and Order: SVU’ Season 15, Episode 13: Preview, TV Info, & More

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - Season 15

Last week the Detectives of the Special Victims Unit were in a transitional period. Captain Cragen has gone off to the comfortable world of retirement, and the reigns of the department were passed along to the newly minted Sgt. Benson. While Benson was in charge last week, her commission wasn’t official. That changes tonight as Benson transitions from Detective to team leader on her first case. According to NBC the case tonight involves a kidnapping victim with ties to a violent gang.

Violence escalates when SVU takes on a kidnapping with ties to a dangerous gang.

From the looks of the previews for tonight’s all new episode the crime is both brutal and disturbing. Both hallmarks of “Law and Order: SVU”. Here’s a look at Benson post swearing in handing out her first orders to the team.

Once the victim is located the case becomes a rape investigation, but then a key component of the case goes missing. Can Benson prove that the gang is to blame?

“Law and Order: SVU” now belongs to the two Killer Bs, Benson and Barba. Sgt. Benson and ADA Barba are more than able to carry the show. Plus it means the Law and the Order side working closer together. Raul Esparza is a wonderful actor, and he should be used more and more now that Benson is shifting into the Sgt.’s chair.
