If Lindsay Lohan is trying to turn her career around, she may have just booked a very important guest star roe on one of the more popular shows on television. CBS has announced that Lohan will be guest starring on the sitcom 2 Broke Girls next month.
This will mark the first time Lohan has returned to something that has been scripted and hasn’t been just awful in a long time. She’s not guest starring for no reason, as her series on OWN is set to premiere just days after her spot on 2 Broke Girls.
Appearing in the April 14 episode, which marks 2 Broke Girls‘ 8 p.m. time-slot premiere, Lohan will play soon-to-be-bride Claire Guinness, who asks Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) to make her wedding cake. As they get to know her, however, it becomes clear that Claire is indecisive.
Lohan has been a public train wreck for years but there aren’t many that are actually wishing ill-will on her. In this day and age where talents like Heath Ledger and Philip Seymour Hoffman can’t escape addiction without dying first, there’s understandable heartache over how Lohan parades her drunken self to clubs and onto tabloid stands.
But it appears she’s going to start turning her life around and her guest spot on 2 Broke Girls may end up being a bigger deal than we think.
