It seems that no matter how hard Leslie Knope tries that there is nothing she can do bring together the two cities of Pawnee and Eagleton. The rich entitled residents of Eagleton don’t want anything to do with the salt of the earth Pawnee. Last week Leslie tried to knock down a wall that separated the two towns, but ended up releasing a hive of angry bees instead.
Tonight she tries another tact to bring people together. The Parks Department is sponsoring a contest to find a new slogan for the combined towns. In fact tonight’s all new episode is titled “New Slogan”. As usual with Leslie things never go the way she planned. Local radio shock jocks start pushing offensive slogans, and the initiative goes off the rails. Here’s a preview of Leslie being interviewed by the DJs, one of whom is being played by the hilarious Nick Kroll.
What if we told you that the best Jazz performer in Pawnee, Duke Silver, actually works in the Parks Department. Check out Andy’s trip to the local Jazz club and the amazing reveal of Duke Silver.
Here’s the synopsis of tonight’s episode.
Leslie runs afoul of local shock jocks when she creates a new town slogan; Andy discovers an interesting secret about Ron while scouting for bands to play the Unity Concert; Tom, Donna and April look for a restaurant locale.
