Finally the ladies of Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City” can agree on something. Aviva is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad person. The season 6 premiere focused on all of Aviva’s flaws, and her issues with the group set up as the dominate story of the show. Tonight’s episode, titled “Give Up the Ghostwriter”, features Aviva stirring the pot once again.

Aviva asked for published author Carole’s advice in writing her own book. When their meeting doesn’t go as planned Aviva starts a discussion of whether Carole employed a ghostwriter in her books. In the author world those are fighting words. Now we have book-gate to obsess over. Here are the details from Bravo.

When Aviva scores a book deal for her memoir, she decides to meet with Carole, the renowned author of the group, for help. Their lunch quickly turns uncomfortable and things get ugly when the topic of “ghostwriters” is mentioned. Aviva hosts a housewarming at her new Upper West Side townhouse where Ramona sets Carole off by spreading some damning gossip.

Book-gate takes over this episode like bird flu. First is a clip of Ramona pushing all of Carole’s buttons about the ghostwriting story.

Then Carole sits in the park with Heather and new girl Kristen for even more knife sharpening over the claims by Aviva.
