Footloose is 30 years old. Seriously. Footloose was released on February 17, 1984. Seriously, I don’t think the 80’s should be 30 years in the past, I just do not comprehend that. Why are we talking about Footloose? Because Kevin Bacon is still so awesome and showed that during his appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Kevin Bacon became Ren McCormack once again for the most epic walk-on in the history of the Tonight Show, which is impressive because The Roots come up with amazing walk-on music.

Did you watch that? Now watch it again.

Bacon did admit at the desk that he wasn’t the guy doing the flips and gymnastics, but it’s still pretty epic. Fallon and Bacon actually talked to Bacon’s stunt double for the sketch and it was revealed he was a competing gymnast, so I think that’s our sign to not try this at home.

Other than the awesomeness of Kevin Bacon, it was another solid Tonight Show. The Friday staple of ‘Thank You Notes’ was great as always, Ann Wilson of  the band Heart sat in with The Roots, Ty Dolla $ign performed and animal expert Jeff Musial brought out some adorable animals like a baby black bear and the below pictured sloth.
