2014 NCAA Final Four Schedule on TBS for April 4th: Preview and Live Stream

Don’t be surprised to receive phone calls from your older relatives later today. In a departure for major sporting events, tonight’s Final Four games will not be shown on Network TV. That’s surely going to confuse a bunch of people. Instead of airing the games on CBS, the semi-final games of the 2014 Tournament will be broadcast on TBS. The change in viewing venue is a result of the deal between CBS and Turner Sports to expand the coverage of the Tournament. When the phone rings later today just answer it with “It’s on TBS”.

Let’s take a look at the two semi-final picks, and as usual make our uninformed predictions on which teams will advance to the championship game on Monday night.

6:09 pm Connecticut vs. Florida on TBS

Announce Team: Jim Nantz, Greg Anthony, Steve Kerr, Tracy Wolfson

Connecticut surprised many experts with their run in this year’s Tournament. On the other hand Florida, ranked the number one overall team in the Tournament, has surprised no one by making the Final Four. Connecticut is just as explosive as Florida, but the size of the Gators, especially Patric Young, will give Florida the win.

Pick – Florida

8:49 pm Wisconsin vs. Kentucky on TBS

Announce Team: Jim Nantz, Greg Anthony, Steve Kerr, Tracy Wolfson

Wisconsin earned a high ranking in the Tournament, but no one thought they’d make it this far. Kentucky was a team people called the greatest freshman class ever, and are just peaking now. The only team that can stop Kentucky is Florida.

Pick – Kentucky
