NCAA Championship Game Connecticut vs. Kentucky: Preview and Live Stream

Tonight’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game is why Warren Buffet and his pals felt so confident offering 1 billion dollars to any fan who could fill out a perfect bracket. The two teams in the finals, Connecticut and Kentucky,  were awarded eighth and seventh seeds when the Tournament began. Both of these teams caught fire in the Tournament, and deserve a chance at winning the National Title. It’s the randomness of March Madness that makes it one of the can’t miss sporting events of the year. That same reason is why Buffet’s billion bucks was never really in jeopardy.

The game features a contrast in teams and coaches. Connecticut is coached by Kevin Ollie, a former NBA player who replaced legendary UConn coach Jim Calhoun. Kentucky is led by John Calipari, the king of one and done players in college. Calipari is the type of coach that always elicits a response. Fans either love or hate him. There’s no in between when it comes to Coach Cal.

Kentucky’s freshman class was considered by some as the best class ever. Connecticut has the best guard combination in the Tournament. The game could come down to how effective the UConn guards are in the first half. If they have a slow start like they did against Florida then it could be a long night for Kevin Ollie and the Huskies.
