Get ready, because darkness is coming to NBC this May.
NBC has officially announced the premiere date for miniseries Rosemary’s Baby, with the two night miniseries premiering Sunday, May 11 at 9/8c and continuing on Thursday, May 15 at 9/8c.
Based on the 1967 best selling suspense novel of the same name by Ira Levin, Rosemary’s Baby stars Zoe Saldana (Avatar) and Patrick J. Adams (Suits) as Rosemary and Guy Woodhouse, a young married couple that leave New York to move to Paris in an attempt to leave behind their sad past.
A series of unfortunate events leads the young couple to an offer they can not deny, an apartment at the most prestigious address in the entire city. Unfortunately, the apartment comes with a dark, haunted past and an “immeasurable price.”
The lives of the Woodhouses seem to be perfect as Guy’s writing career takes off and Rosemary finds herself pregnant. As Rosemary delves into the apartment building’s history and its past residents, Rosemary becomes suspicious that both her husband and their neighbors have ulterior motives for her child.
In this miniseries, thriller event written by Scott Abbott (Queen of the Damned) and James Wong (American Horror Story) and directed by Agnieszka Holland (Treme), Rosemary soon finds herself surrounded by peculiar people and strange events, with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.
Catch Rosemary’s Baby Sunday, May 11, at 9/8c and Thursday, May 15 at 9/8c on NBC.
