ReactToThat will follow the same format as The Fine Bros’ YouTube franchise, showing kids’ reactions to viral internet videos.
Fine Bros’ Benny and Rafi Fine are bring the series to Nickelodeon with the assistance of comedian, actor Nick Cannon. The television adaptation, will hail from Ncredible Entertainment, Cannon’s production company.
The Fine Bros and Cannon are also currently in the process of writing an adaptation for the Sundance Channel that will be a “pop culture riff off the React format.”
The Fine Bros are affiliated with YouTube’s multichannel network, Fullscreen. Together the duo runs one of YouTube’s largest and most successful networks. Their channel has 8.1 million subscribers and a whopping 1.58 billion video views!
This is not the first time Nickelodeon has adapted a popular YouTube franchise into a series on the network. The children’s network teamed with Lucas Cruikshack to produce a series of television movies and a short lived series based off Cruikshack’s Fred franchise.
The 13 episode season of ReactToThat is set to premiere sometime later this year.
