2014 Kentucky Derby: Preview and Live Stream

May is here, and Summer is just a blink away. That can only mean one thing. Time to break out your most over the top hat and start cranking out those Mint Juleps because it’s Kentucky Derby time. The Kentucky Derby, the first leg of Horse Racing’s Triple Crown will once again be broadcast by NBC. This year the Peacock network is adding extra coverage of the biggest Horse race of the year. Check out the below description from NBA about the in depth coverage they have planned for the Derby.

NBC Sports Group will present 15.5 hours of Kentucky Derby coverage, a record for the event, beginning Wednesday, April 30, at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and culminating with the 140th running of the Kentucky Derby on NBC, Saturday, May 3. Coverage begins on Saturday at noon on NBCSN and continues at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. The Kentucky Derby, along with the Preakness and Belmont Stakes, will also be available to desktop and mobile users via NBC Sports Live Extra (see exact listings and details below), including exclusive camera angles and analysis.

While we here at Hidden Remote don’t claim much authority in the world of Horse Racing, we would be remiss to not pick a winner in the race. Our pick for the win is Danza, and yes the tie in to Who’s the Boss had a big effect on our decision.
