NCIS: Which Cast Members Just Signed on through Season 13

NCIS fans don’t need to worry about saying goodbye to any of their favorite cast members anytime soon!

CBS announced on Monday that Rocky Carroll (Director Leon Vance), David McCallum (Dr. Donald Mallard), Sean Murray (Agent Timothy McGee) and Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) have all signed new deals with the network that will keep them with the show through season 13 of the long-running naval crime procedural.

NCIS co-stars Brian Dietzen (Jimmy Palmer), Mark Harmon (Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs) and Emily Wickersham (Agent Ellie Bishop) are already under contracts that will keep them with the series for the show’s upcoming season 12.

The only actor on the series who has not yet come to a contract agreement is Michael Weatherly (Agent Tony DiNozzo). Weatherly is currently in negotiations and is expected to close his deal very soon.

The news of the cast’s contract extensions come less than a year after NCIS bid farewell to longtime cast member Cote de Pablo. The actress’ exit came as a shock to many, and the writers bid farewell to her character, Agent Ziva David, in the first two episodes of the current season, season eleven. Wickersham was later cast as Ziva’s replacement, agent Ellie Bishop.

NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.

Are you glad the NCIS team will all be returning next season?

I sure hope that Michael signs on. His humour is what keeps me going after losing Cote on the show. I sure hope in Season 12 they give Bishop some funny lines with the guys. I miss the banter that Cote had with them. It doesn’t look like Cote plans to come back so I hope that once the death of Ralph Waite is dealt with they can start afresh in Season 12 and the characters move on. I’ve noticed that the little Israeli flag that was on Ziva’s desk now resides in Abby’s lab. It unnerves me to see it. It makes me wonder whether the network is still trying to convince her to return.
