Update: 1:45 pm: It looks like Fox’s 24: Live Another Day returned to better numbers that previously reported. Nielsen has released the time adjusted ratings and 24: Live Another Day has grew in total viewers from 8 million to 8.1 million , and saw a larger jump in the demo rising from 2.5 to a 2.9 in 18-49 demo.

Previous: Fox’s much anticipated 24: Live Another Day, brought the network a much needed boost in their  Monday night line-up. 24: Live Another Day managed to bring in 8 million total viewers and garnish a 2.5, putting the special limited episode run on track with the series’s season 8 finale (8.4 million viewers, 2.6 in the demo).

Jack Bauer’s return brought Fox a much needed boost to its Monday night line-up, bringing in more total viewers and a stronger demo rating that Fox’s Bones/The Following two hour block with averages just above 5 million viewers a week and a 1.5 in the demo.

Here are how the other networks faired on Monday night:

ABC: Dancing With the Stars averaged 12.7 mil and a 1.8 in the demo, dropping 20 and 30 percent since last week’s episode. Castle followed suit at 10/9c (8.9 mil/1.6) falling 14 and 20 percent.

CBS: 2 Broke Girls’ finale (6.5 mil/1.9) was down 17 and 17 percent from last week’s all new episode. CBS continued to struggle throughout the night as fellow comedies Friends With Better Lives (5 mil/1.6) fell 18 and 16 percent, and Mike & Molly (6.5 mil/1.8) was down 14 and 18 percent.

NBC: Over at NBC new episodes of The Voice (10.8 mil/3.0) and The Blacklist (10.6 mil/2.7) managed to remain steady in the demo rating, but saw a slight decrease in overall viewership.

The CW: Freshmen series Star-Crossed (930K/0.3) and The Tomorrow People finale (1 mil/0.4) were  both disappointingly flat (not a good sign for a renewal).
