CBS Releases Fall Schedule: The Big Bang Theory, NCIS: LA Heading to Mondays


CBS released it’s primetime line-up for the 2014-15 fall television season.

As many predicted, CBS is temporarily moving rating juggernaut The Big Bang Theory to Monday nights to begin its season during the network’s Thursday Night Football run. After about five or six weeks, The Big Bang Theory will return to it’s normal Thursday night time slot, and Two Broke Girls will return to the Mondays at 8/7c time slot.

Other notable moves by the network: NCIS: LA is moving to Mondays at 10/9c, taking the series’ prior time slot is the newest NCIS spinoff, NCIS: New Orleans. After spending years as part of CBS’ Sunday night block, The Amazing Race is moving to Fridays at 8/7c, while CSI is heading to Sundays. CBS also confirmed that this year will be the final season for Two and a Half Men.
