Tonight’s all new episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit features the SVU team dealing with the question of when a thought actually becomes a crime. Joshua Malina, from Scandal and The West Wing, guest stars as a possible sex offender who comes to the attention of the squad when they try a new approach to tracking criminals. The idea appears to be finding the warning signs in offenders before they act out their crimes.
Malina plays a man who is thinking up some truly disturbing situations, but he’s not acting them out. There are no victims in his thoughts and dreams, no matter how horrible they may seem. B.D. Wong returns tonight as Dr. Huang to help the team sort out this issue. Fans also need to see what’s the deal with Rollins and Amaro. Last week we saw how the duo was becoming far more than partners. How will this dynamic shake up the show?
Here’s the episode synopsis from NBC.com.
