The network’s most notable moves is shifting The Originals from Tuesday nights to Mondays at 8.7c. After enjoying a successful freshman season on Tuesdays, it will be interesting to see how the series fairs opening the night on Monday. Following The Originals, is new comedy Jane the Virgin.
Arrow spinoff, The Flash, will premiere this fall in the 8/7c time slot on Tuesday, airing before CW mainstay Supernatural (which returns for its tenth season this fall).
Also worth mentioning, The CW’s Friday night line-up will see the network’s first full night of all reality programs with Whose Line Is It Anyway? and America’s Next Top Model.
Noticeably missing from the fall line-up are Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas’ new series iZombie, fellow new series The Messengers as well as returning dramas Beauty and the Beast and Hart of Dixie. All four of the dramas are being held for the network’s midseason line-up.
