Ratings: 'Supernatural' Finale Rises, 'The Voice' Hits a Finale Low

The Winchester Brothers still have it!

The CW’s Supernatural season nine finale brought in 2.28 million total viewers and a 1.1 in the demo, rising 31 percent in total viewers and 38 percent in the demo in the week-to-week standards.

The season nine finale was up 10 percent in the demo from last year’s season eight finale.

Here is how the other networks faired last night:

ABC: Season 18 of Dancing with the Stars came to a close on Monday with 14.9 million total viewers and a 2.4 in the demo. Having to go head-to-head with The Voice‘s season finale, Dancing with the Stars fell 11 percent from last year’s spring finale tying a finale low.

CBS: Facing stiff competition, CBS’ primetime Judge Judy special (5.7 mil/0.9) and the two-hour special ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops (4.5 mil/0.9) were both pretty flat.

Fox: American Idol‘s thirteenth season managed to bring in a mere 6.6 million total viewers and a 1.7 in the demo, making the finale performance show American Idol‘s least watched episode in the series’ history. Following Idol‘s poor showing, the series premiere of I Wanna Marry Harry debuted to a mere 2 million total viewers and a 0.7.

NBC: The Voice‘s season 6 finale garnered 11.6 million total viewers and a 3.3 demo rating, rising in the the week-to-week format, but down 25 percent from last spring’s closer, to a finale low.
