Trya Banks Returning to Daytime with New Talk Show

Tyra Banks is making a return to daytime television!

Banks has inked a new deal with Disney-ABC to  host and executive produce a new syndicated daily lifetime show for the network. The untitled 2015 show will find Banks leading a team of lifestyle experts as they discuss everything from fashion and beauty to home and entertainment as well as tying in messages of empowerment.

The series’ goal is to “help motivate viewers to improve and enhance their lives”, and Disney-ABC Domestic Television president Janice Marinelli believes Banks is the perfect person to lead the new daytime venture:

“Tyra is an enormous and vibrant talent with widespread appeal, and we’re eager to introduce her new lifestyle show that will incorporate her personal message of self-confidence to the syndication marketplace.”

The series will also feature celebrity guests, “internet influencers,” and experts and everyday people to share their knowledge of various topics. The series marks Banks second venture into daytime television and the model-television host is looking forward to returning to the daytime landscape:

“The fire to inspire women and help them to blaze new paths fiercely burns inside of me. I’m excited to be partnering with Disney-ABC to usher in a new era of lifestyle, beauty and entertainment that will inspire women to be the CEO of their lives via honesty, humor and the newest tips and tricks without being intimidating or precious. To my fierce fam of future viewers: I can’t wait to shake up daytime TV together. I have a lot of information to give and still lots to learn. Let’s do it!”
