WWE News: Daniel Bryan Update, Which Superstar is Aiming for a Comeback, & More

When will Daniel Bryan return to the ring? Is Evan Bourne on his way back to the WWE? Which WWE Diva was tapped to host a Father’s Day programming block for The Hub? Find out the answers to all these questions more in this this week’s WWE news recap:

While the plan has always been for  Daniel Bryan to retain his WWE Wold Heavyweight Championship as he was set to return within eight weeks of his cervical foraminotomy procedure, the WWE has recently received news that Bryan may not be cleared in time for the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

If Bryan is not cleared for Money in the Bank, it seems the WWE (as Stephanie McMahon detailed on Raw) would crown a new champion at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

WWE Superstar Evan Bourne, who hasn’t been seen on the main roster for several months, recently hinted on Twitter that he is looking to make a return to the company:

Keeping with Twitter news, DiGiorno Pizza joined in on the Monday Night Raw/Payback conversation with a series of WWE related tweets. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

WWE Superstar Batista has one final appearance scheduled before he finishes his “contractual obligations.” Batista’s final appearance in the WWE at the NXT tapings scheduled for June 12 at Full Sail.

Finally, The Hub has announced that WWE Diva Natalya and her father Jim Neidhart will host a block of programming on Father’s Day Sunday, June 15. The block of programming will begin at 3/2c and will feature the father/daughter duo in various segments during the children’s cable network’s Sunday line-up.
