Fox’s 24: Live Another Day event series continues to perform well for Fox. Monday’s new outing averaged 6.3 million total viewers and a 1.6 in the demo. Monday’s episode was up in total viewers, but down two tenths in the demo. While 24: Live Another Day captured the night’s largest audience, NBC’s American Ninja Warrior slightly edged out the series in the demo.
Opening the night off for Fox, a new outing of MasterChef averaged 4.6 million total viewers, while pulling a 0.7 in the demo. Monday’s MasterChef was down 13 percent in total viewers and shed 17 percent of its demo from last week’s new episode.
Here is how the night’s other new outings performed:
ABC: Kicking off the night for ABC was a special Bachelorette recap, which only managed to bring ABC 4 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo (down 40 and 50 percent receptively from last week). In the 9/8c hour ABC New’s Hilary Clinton one-on-one interview average 6.1 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo. Closing the night for ABC, a new Mistresses brought in 3.6 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, down 23 percent in audience and down 25 percent in the demo.
NBC: American Ninja Warrior brought in 5 million total viewers and a 1.7 rating. While Monday’s new outing was down 7 percent in viewers and two tenths in the demo, American Ninja Warrior managed to narrowly beat Fox’s 24: Live Another Day in the demo. Leading out of American Ninja Warrior, a rerun of Last Comic Standing ended the night with 4 million total viewers and a 1.1 in the demo.
The CW: A new Whose Line Is It Anyway opened the night for The CW with 1.9 million total viewers and a 0.7 in the demo, adding a few viewers and rising two tenths in the demo. Beauty and the Beast closed the night out with just 860,000 viewers and a 0.3 in the demo, down 19 percent in total viewers.
