‘Arrow’ Season 3 Casting News

Out with the old, in with the new.

When The CW’s comic book hit Arrow returns this fall there will be quite a few new faces joining the cast including a potential love interest for Felicity.

TVLine reports that casting is currently underway for four new characters who will join season three. Here are the casting details for the four new characters:

Daniel: Potentially a false name (to help prevent any spoilers for the character’s reveal), Daniel will be a major recurring character on Arrow‘s third season. He is described as “a handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology.” However his charisma and confidence in pubic mask the “tragic past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero.” Daniel will also serve as a rival for Oliver (on both professional and personal levels) as well as serving as a possible love interest for Felicity.

Seth: Another possible fake name, Seth is described as a “well-educated criminal with grand ambitions and a knack for chemistry.” A possible recurring character, Seth “gains power over his enemies by exposing them to a drug that drains their willpower.” The character is also described to be a equally physical threat to The Arrow.

Toshi: Toshi is described as a “well-trained operative, skilled in weaponry, combat and intelligence gathering.” This late 20s/early 30′s character will appear in season three’s Hong Kong flashbacks in a major recurring role serving as Oliver’s teacher and handler, and eventual friend.

Akiko: Akiko, the wife of  Toshi, is “highly skilled in martial arts” and acts as another of Oliver’s Hong Kong caretakers.

Arrow returns this fall on The CW.
