'Big Brother' Season 16 Twist Revealed

Get ready for “the most twisted season of Big Brother yet!”

Julie Chen announced the big twist for season 16 of Big Brother  on The Talk on Wednesday promising that this will be the most twisted season in Big Brother history:

“It’s time to break some Big Brother news. For all of you Big Brother fans who have been dying to know what the twist was going to be this summer – well guess what, I’ve been dying to tell you.

This year, not one, but two houseguests will win Head of Household every week. Each Head of Household – also known as HOH- will have the responsibility of nominating two fellow houseguests for eviction, so that means a total of four nominated houseguests will be on the chopping block. However, for the first time on Big Brother just because you’re the HOH doesn’t mean you’re safe.

That’s because a brand new competition will be played this year called ‘Battle of the Block.’ And one more thing, you the fans are going to be influencing the game in a new interactive twist called ‘Team America.’

It all starts one week from today, in special two-night premiere event Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26. This I promise you will be the most twisted season of Big Brother yet!”

That’s right, for the first time in Big Brother history there will be two HOHs and the HOHs will not be safe from the weekly eviction!

Season 16 of Big Brother will also get the fans involved this summer with a teased “Team America.” No details have been announced for exactly how America will influence the game, so make sure to share your “Team America” theories in the comment section below.

Season 16 of Big Brother premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8/7c on CBS.
