This fall, British boy band One Direction will turn in their chart toping tunes for a much simpler tune, as the band makes their way to PBS’ Sesame Street.
In advance of One Direction’s appearance on Sesame Street’s upcoming 45th season this fall, PBS has released an exclusive sneak peek clip of the two One Direction members belting out a tune with one lucky Sesame Street resident.
In the new clip, One Direction’s Liam Payne and Harry Styles join Sesame Street’s Bert in singing the alphabet.
At the conclusion of the one minute video, there is a brief teaser clip of Payne, Styles and fellow One Direction group members Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson spotlighting the letter U in a parody of their hit song “What Makes You Beautiful.”
One Direction joins a series of celebrities set to appear on the children’s education series 45th season including Aziz Ansari, Zach Braff, Andy Cohen, Claire Danes, Viola Davis, Kat Dennings, Taye Diggs, Tina Fey, Zach Galifianakis, Pau Gasol, Ricky Gervais, Christina Hendricks, Mindy Kaling, Taran Killiam, Jane Krakowski, Zachary Levi, Macklemore, Jack McBrayer, Ian McKellen, Seth Meyers, Janelle Monae, Craig Robinson, Jasmin Romero, Emmy Rossum, Ed Sheeran, Brittany Snow and Zachary Quinto.
