CW Reveals Fall Premiere Dates

Fans of The CW will once again have to wait until October for their favorite shows to return.

The CW has released its fall premiere dates for its new and returning series, all of which will premiere in early October.

Set to return first, The Vampire Diaries will return Thursday, October 2 at 8/7c for its sixth season, followed by the season two premiere of Reign at 9/8c.

Kicking off a week of returns, The Originals returns Monday, October 6 at 8/7c on its new night. The Originals will fill followed up with a Supernatural special at 9/8c. The CW’s Monday night line-up will settle in the following week, with the series premiere of Jane the Virgin at 9/8c on Monday, October 13.

Supernatural will then return the following night, Tuesday, October 7 for its tenth season at 9/8c. Leading into Supernatural this season will be Arrow spin-off The Flash, which premieres ahead of Supernatural at 8/7c.

Arrow will return for its third season on Wednesday, October 8 at 8/7c. Arrow will be joined this fall by The 100, which returns for its sophomore season Wednesday, October 22 at 9/8c.

Notably missing from the fall schedule are dramas Hart of Dixie and Beauty and the Beast. Both series narrowly avoided cancelation last season and are likely on hold for mid-season or possibly even next summer.
