Tuesday’s new The Night Shift managed to pull in 6.4 million total viewers and a 1.3 in the adults 18-49 age demo, on par with last week in total viewers and down a tenth in the demo. Since debuting in May, The Night Shift has become this summer’s highest rated new series among adults 18-49 and in total viewership. The series will wrap up its freshman run next Tuesday, with part two of the two part finale event.
Starting off the night for NBC, an America’s Got Talent rerun managed to bring in 7.9 million total viewers and a 1.7 in the demo (tying a repeat of NCIS over on CBS for the night’s largest audience).
Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:
ABC: Without much competition, an all new Extreme Weight Loss managed to pull in 3.5 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo. Tuesday’s new Extreme Weight Loss was up a tenth in the demo, while even in total viewers. Closing the night for ABC, an all new Celebrity Wife Swap pulled in 3.2 million total viewers and a 1.o in the demo, tying last week’s season low in both total viewers and in the demo.
