Ratings: MLB All-Star Game Wins the Night

The fast national rating are in for Tuesday night, and Fox’s coverage of the MLB All-Star Game easily won the night.

Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game attracted 10.9 million total viewers and a 3.0 in the demo. The game’s numbers are expected to rise when delayed viewing is factored in, which should reflect a small rise from last year’s All-Star Game.

Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:

ABC: Startig the night off for ABC, an all new Extreme Weight Loss pulled in 3.5 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, down two tenths compared to last week’s new outing. Following Extreme Weight Loss, an al new Celebrity Wife Swap averaged 3.4 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, steady with last week’s numbers.

NBC: Over on NBC, a America’s Got Talent “best of” special highlighting this season’s best auditions brought in 8.5 million total viewers and a 2.0 in the demo. Leading out of America’s Got TalentThe Night Shift‘s freshman season finale pulled in 6.2 million total viewers and a 1.2 in the adults 18-49 age demo. Part two of the two part Night Shift finale was slightly down in total viewers and fell a tenth in the demo up against Fox’s All-Star Game coverage.
