Ratings: 'Big Brother' Wins Night, 'Rising Star' Hits New Low

The fast national ratings are in and summer’s hottest reality series Big Brother has once again helped CBS win Sunday night.

Sunday’s new Big Brother managed to bring in 6.4 million total viewers, while averaging a 2.1 in the adults 18-49 age demo. Sunday’s newest Big Brother was slightly down in the demo shedding a tenth in the demo, but steady in total viewers.

Following Big Brother, an all new Unforgettable pulled in 6.4 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, up a tenth in the demo. Closing the night for CBS, an all new Reckless averaged 4.1 million total viewers and a 0.6 in the demo, also rising a tenth in the week-to-week demo measurements. Sunday’s new Reckless also performed steady in total viewers, coming up in a three-way tie for the 10 pm timeslot with ABC’s Castle rerun and NBC’s Chicago P.D. rerun.

Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:

ABC: Kicking off the night for ABC, an all new Wipeout managed to pull in 3.9 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, down 19 percent in total viewers and 29 percent in the demo. Leading out of WipeoutRising Star managed to pull in 4.1 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, falling 15 percent in total viewers and 23 percent in the demo to a series low.
