Ratings: 'Hotel Hell' Premiere Down, 'MasterChef' Rises

Fox’s Hotel Hell returned on Monday for its newest season with 4 million total viewers checking in to the premiere, while pulling a 1.5 in the demo. Monday’s premiere was down 2o percent in total viewers and 21 percent in the demo from its previous season premiere (Monday’s Hotel Hell was also down from last season finale which pulled in 4.4 million total viewers and a 1.8 in the demo).

Kicking the night off for Fox, an all new MasterChef pulled in 5.8 million total viewers and a 2.1 in the demo, up slightly in total viewers and up three tenths to a season high in the demo.

Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:

ABC: Over on ABC, The Bachelorette: Men Tell All special pulled in 6.8 million total viewers and a 1.8 in the demo, managing to beat CBS’ once unbeatable Under the Dome. Leading out of The Bachelorette, a new Mistresses averaged a mere 3.6 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, coming up flat.

CBS: An all new Under the Dome brought in  6.7 million total viewers and a 1.5 in the demo, falling 12 and 21 percent respectively.

NBC: American Ninja Warrior  managed to attract 5.8 million total viewers, while puling a 1.9 in the demo. Monday’s new American Ninja Warrior was up 7 percent in total viewers and two tenths in the demo, matching season highs.

The CW: Over on The CW, both Seed (490K/0.2) and Backpackers (419K/0.2) lost a few viewers and were just plain flat.
