Ratings: 'Rising Star', 'Wipeout' Hit Series Lows

The fast national ratings are in for Sunday night and ABC’s Sunday night line-up hit all time lows.

Kicking off the night for ABC, an all new Wipeout pulled in a mere 3.2 million total viewers and a 0.8 in the adults 18-49 age demo. Sunday’s new two-hour blind date episode of Wipeout was down 22 percent in total viewers and down 27 percent in the demo, hitting series lows in both measures.

Leading out of Wipeout, an all new Rising Star added a few eyeballs with 3.5 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo. Sunday’s new Rising Star shed 12 percent of its total viewers from the previous week an shed a tenth in the demo, hitting new season lows.

Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:

CBS: Over on CBS, a new Big Brother pulled in 6.5 million total viewers, while pulling a 2.1 in the demo.While Sunday’s latest Big Brother was down a tenth in total viewers, the new episode easily won the night for CBS. Leading out of Big Brother, an all new Unforgettable pulled in 6.4 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, steady with last week’s new outing. Finishing the night for CBS, an all new Reckless attracted 4.2 million total viewers and 0.6 in the demo, steady with last week’s numbers.
