CBS’ Big Brother episode, which featured a special appearance by Kathy Griffin and the return of Zingbot, managed to claim the night’s largest demo rating. Big Brother‘s Power of Veto episode pulled in 6.6 million total viewers and a 2.3 in the demo, up two tenths in the demo from last week’s outing.
Leading out of Big Brother, a special double dose of Extant averaged 5.6 million total viewers and a 1.0 in the demo, steady with last week’s new outing and slightly up in the 9 o’clock timeslot from last week’s Criminal Minds repeat.
Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:
ABC: In ABC’s only new outing of the night, a new Motive pulled in 3.8 million total viewers and a 0.8 in the demo, up a tenth from last week’s demo rating.
Fox: Over on Fox, a new So You Think You Can Dance pulled in 3.4 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, falling to series lows in both total viewers and in the demo.
NBC: A new America’s Got Talent results show easily claimed the night’s largest audience with 9.2 million total viewers tuning in to see which four acts advanced to the next round. Wednesday’s result show also managed to pull a 1.8 in the demo, down a tenth to a series low. Leading out of America’s Got Talent, a new Taxi Brooklyn pulled in 4.9 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, coming up flat.
The CW: Penn & Teller: Fool Us pulled in 1.7 million total viewers and a 0.6 in the demo, rising a tenth in the demo to a series high.
