Ratings: 'Big Brother' Hits Season High, 'Rising Star' Up

With the season sixteen finale one month away, CBS’ Big Brother reached season highs on Sunday scoring the night’s largest demo and audience.

Sunday’s Head of Household/nominations episode pulled in 7.3 million total viewers and a 2.5 in the 18-49 age demo hitting season highs in both measures and scoring the best young adult schedule for any show in two months.

Leading out of Big Brother, an all new Unforgettable pulled in 6.4 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, rising a tenth from last week’s outing. Closing the night, a new Reckless pulled in 4 million total viewers and a 0.5 in the demo, steady with last week’s numbers.

Here is how the night’s other new outings faired:

ABC: Kicking the night off for ABC, a new Wipeout averaged 3 million total viewers and a 0.7 in the demo, down two tenths to a new series low. Leading out of Wipeout, the season finale of Rising Star pulled in 3.2 million total viewers and a 0.9 in the demo, rising a tenth in the demo.

NBC: Over on NBC, NFL preseason coverage of the Cincinnati Bengals, Arizona Cardinals match-up pulled in 6.6 million total viewers and a 1.9 in the demo, on par with last week’s preseason coverage.
