Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (Trailer)

If you’re going to make a supposed scary movie it helps to promote it with a scary trailer. That’s just common sense. Are you listening Paranormal Activity 2 marketing team? Fresh off a swarm of positive buzz at Comic-Con, the trailer for the Guillermo del Toro written and produced Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark is now available for all to see via MySpace. MySpace? What is this, 2007? Anyway, the damn thing is pretty creepy, so consider yourself warned. I shat myself watching it the first time. The flick is about a little girl sent to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie Holmes) in the old mansion they are renovating. After snooping around, the kid unleashes a gang of nasty creatures who enjoy kill crazy rampages.

People really need to stop renovating 19th century houses. Nothing good ever comes of it. Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark will open in January 2011.
