Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles: Unappreciated

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are two of the best actors you’ve probably never heard of and that is a crime. The stars of the CW show, Supernatural, soon to begin its 10th season, have made names for themselves on TV.  Both extremely talented, Hollywood stardom has eluded them both. Both have starred in several movies and TV shows, but neither has risen above the rank of working actor.

Jared Padalecki’s first major role came on the WB show The Gilmore Girls, in which he played the role of Dean Forester until 2005. Padalecki learned his chops there. The show, renowned for its massive amounts of dialogue and rapid fire delivery, gave him a chance to grow and become the actor he is today. That same year, he was cast as Sam Winchester in the WB’s Supernatural. Created by Eric Kripke, the show follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers, as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters and other supernatural beings in the world. Along the way, Padalecki starred in the reboot of Friday the 13th and Cry Wolf.

What American Horror Story does now, Padalecki,

Ackles and Supernatural  have been doing for years. It is partly the doing of Padalecki and the on-screen chemistry he shares with fellow Texan Jensen Ackles. Starting out as a model, Ackles was infected by the acting bug from an early age. He eventually went on to audition for the role of the young Clark Kent in Smallville, but the part went to Tom Welling instead. In 2001, Ackles was cast in James Cameron’s Dark Angel, opposite Jessica Alba. That lasted for just two seasons and eventually Ackles returned to the Smallville world to play assistant football coach and Kristian Kreuk’s love interest, Jason Teague. As

older brother Dean Winchester, Ackles meshed with Padalecki from the word go, and created a show that has not only lasted ten seasons, and maybe more, but will, no doubt, take its place on the mantel of television greats.
