GSN Greenlights New Traveling Game Show ‘The Line’
The Game Show Network (GSN) has greenly The Line, a new traveling game show from High Noon Entertainment.
Hosted by Candace Bailey (Attack of the Show) and Jeff Davis (Whose Line Is It Anyway?), The Line invite hundreds of every day people to line up every day in hopes of winning cash and prizes be answering a series of trivia questions. Participating contestants will work to build up their jackpots by reaching the “Trivia Vault” at the front of the line by answering eight true/false questions.
Amy Introcaso-Davis, GSN’s executive vice president of programming and development, notes that the goal of the series is to bring the “joy” of the game to the people through communities across the country, beginning with the series’ first stop in Nashville, Tennessee:
“The goal of The Line is to take the joy of game directly to communities across the country and we are so excited that GSN’s first stop is Nashville. We have taken something most people dislike – waiting in line – and turned it into the most fun you have ever had, with cash, prizes and 500 new friends!”
Added executive producer Jim Berger:
“We love creating game formats and this one is terrific because it combines both the intellectual and the physical, as well as dual gameplay that takes place both inside the dome and outside in line.”
