The Disney vs Netflix battle might finally be coming to an end, which means subscribers will finally be able to stream a large variety of Disney films! And, hopefully, they discontinue their DVD mail service.
Netflix has great material, brilliant. It’s packed with original series’, intriguing documentaries, and several of our TV favorites are available for us to rewatch again and again, it’s amazing! If you’re not a subscriber, you’re missing out. But its movie selection? Not so great.
The streaming giant simply does not have a large menu of films for us to stream. Instead, we are given the option to upgrade our subscription in order to receive DVD mail service. Say what? What’s taking Netflix so long to get with the times?
First of all, DVD’s? It’s all about Blu-rays! And through the mail? No thanks. Thankfully, the folks over at Vulture are bringing us good news.
According to the source, the Disney vs Netflix battle, which has been going on since 2012, is finally coming to an end. Both companies have come to an agreement, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm movies will be available to stream this September!
Marvel’s The Avengers, for example, is one of the many films currently only available through DVD mail service, and that’s expected to change. It’s not all bad, though, Netflix has earned an amazing reputation for bringing subscribers awesome shows, Marvel original series’ included. There’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and more Marvel titles to come! It’ll be great having all Marvel content under one place.
Are you looking forward to the change? Currently a streaming subscriber or do you also receive DVDs? Let us know in the comments!
