This September, Discovery Channel’s newest original series Sacred Steel (working title) will roll into the network’s iconic Motor Mondays line-up as Discovery looks to take viewers inside one of the most exclusive and unusual bike clubs in the world! Exactly one week after the network’s three-part mini-series Harley and the Davidsons wraps up its run, Sacred Steel‘s journey will begin with a special premiere event on Monday, September 12 at 10/9c – just don’t expect a typical, run-of-the-mill motorcycle show!
Rather than following the day-to-day workings at a bike shop owned and operated by a stereotypical rough and tough biker crew, Sacred Steel centers around an elite group of individuals from a wide array of careers. From a Beverly Hills Retail Associate to an Automotive Engineer, the team at the Sacred Steel shop come from all walks of life but are united by their passion for building and riding bikes.
At the heart of the series is Jason Wilson, who opened Sacred Steel more than a decade ago, who has brought together a crew of friends to create and restore bikes while forming the Douche Larouche – a now full-fledged institution in chapters across the world.
Through the connections established through members of Douche Larouche, neighboring chapters, and their families and friends, Jason and his crew have developed quite the clientele. As a result, Jason and his team are kept extremely busy throughout the year transforming bikes into masterpieces. The only thing bigger than the bikes being built is the personalities of those building them – something viewers will discover in no time!
Don’t miss the series premiere of Sacred Steel Monday, September 12 at 10/9c on Discovery as part of the network’s Motor Mondays line-up!
