In an episode that set the stage for one climactic season finale that is sure to pack quite a few surprises, here were the Top 5 Takeaways from “Heavenly Creatures”…

Scream – MTV

#5 The Opener

In the opening scene, Ghost Face breaks in to Emma’s room while she is sleeping and runs their blade against her vision board. Emma wakes up terrified but when she turns around the killer is gone. The front door to her house is open and the previously seen wood-carved heart necklace with Emma’s name transcribed on it, is hanging on the doorknob. That is not the only thing Ghost Face absconded with.

When Audrey and Emma head to the James family’s pig farm for clues, they decide that Emma will explore, while Audrey keeps a look out. Emma eventually discovers the secret room Sheriff Acosta (Anthony Ruivivar) uncovered in last week’s episode and among the things she finds are her dream journal that includes some disturbing passages that shock Audrey.

Later, someone hacks into Noah’s (John Karna) laptop and uploads a video to The Morgue’s website. The video contains footage of Audrey with Jake’s (Tom Maden) body, interspersed with audio clips that make Emma and Audrey sound very guilty of the killing spree.
