Mike Erhmantraut – Breaking Bad

Last Words: “Just shut the f*ck up, and let me die in peace.”

How He Died: Shot in the gut by a panicky Walter White.

Why His Last Words Are So Good: While we’re still watching Mike’s (Jonathan Banks) backstory play out on Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul, we all know how it’s eventually going to end. Once Walter White shoots, Mike slinks off to die alone next to a quiet river.

Completely in keeping with his taciturn and insightful character, Mike even gets down to business when it comes to dying. He knew that Walt wasn’t to be trusted. He even gets that Walter killed him in a fit of uncalculated rage. But at this point, all he wants to do is spend his last few moments in peace. If that’s not a cowboy way to die, I don’t know what is.
