Hank Schrader – Breaking Bad

Last Words: “My name is ASAC Schrader, and you can go f*ck yourself.” […] “You’re the smartest guy I’ve ever met, and you’re too stupid to see. He made up his mind ten minutes ago. Do what you gotta do.”

How He Died: Shot in the head by Neo-Nazi Jack.

Why His Last Words Are So Good: Hank’s (Dean Norris) death turned out to be the emotional crux that the entirety of Breaking Bad turned on. Caught by Walt’s band of Nazis, Hank is shot and disarmed. While Walt (Bryan Cranston) panics and begs for mercy, Hank knows the score. Unlike Walt, he’s adept at reading people and navigating tense situations exactly like this one. Hank knows it doesn’t look good for him, and so he says exactly what he means, flipping off his assailants even in the face of death.
