‘Supernatural’ – Extended Trailer for “First Blood”

Sam and Dean find themselves in some serious, serious trouble when ‘Supernatural’ returns from it’s winter hiatus. Check out the extended trailer to see where the Winchesters are and how long they’ve been gone!

You thought YOU had a bad year? Sam and Dean had a rough go of it lately. Their Mom came back from the dead, but had trouble adjusting and left. They nearly died a bunch of times while chasing Lucifer and outrunning the British Men of Letters.

When they finally managed to track down the devil and exercise him from the POTUS, the small victory didn’t come without consequence! They saved the President’s life, but when the Secret Service entered the room, it looked like they were attempting to kill the Prez. Not good. They were taken into custody and we aren’t talking a cute little jail in a tiny town. They are in some hardcore trouble, for the first time in a long time.

When the show returns, Sam and Dean have been gone just over six weeks. Cas is super bummed and Mary stays positive but things are looking pretty grim. Sam and Dean are being kept in isolated bunkers somewhere off the grid. It sort of looks like their captors plan to take them out, but clearly they have no idea who they are dealing with.

Many fans first speculated that the ones who took them weren’t the Secret Service but actually just the British Men of Letters posing as agents in order to secure the Winchesters. The theory has been debunked. As TVLine reported, the show’s EP, Andrew Dabb said “it was really the government that grabbed them. It was really the Secret Service.” Yikes fellas. Things just got real.
