Vacations on Always Sunny always seem to devolve into some sort of chaos and injury. Way back in the day, the gang tried to travel to the Grand Canyon and couldn’t even manage to get out of Philly. This definitely foreshadowed things to come.
In the past few years, vacation episodes have become a staple of each season. Season 10 opened with the supremely funny bottle episode “The Gang Beats Boggs”, and Season 11 brought us the 80’s ski movie parody we never knew we wanted.
In Season 12, the gang isn’t headed too far out of town for their annual vaycay, but they are on a day trip. Dennis, Dee, Frank, Mac, and Charlie at a waterpark? What could go wrong?
