Tuesday TV Ratings: CW Ratings tick up against softer competition from the Big 4 as CBS’s Super Bowl Commercials special leads the night in viewers.

After kicking off 2016 to a rocky start the CW ratings finally look to be on the rise. The network’s hit Tuesday night superhero series The Flash pulled in 3 million total viewers and a 1.1 demo rating on Tuesday night, rising 14 and 16 percent in its second week back from break.

In other CW ratings news, a new episode of Legends of Tomorrow pulled in a steady 1.8 million total viewers while rising 13 percent in the demo with a 0.7 demo rating in the key adult 18-49 demo.

Here’s how the night’s other new offerings fared:

ABC: Leading out of a Real O’Neals rerun, a new Agents of Shield (2.2 mil/0.6) inched up 8 percent in total viewers while falling 8 percent in the demo.

CBS: CBS’s annual Super Bowl Greatest Commercials special pulled in 6.4 million total viewers and a 0.9 demo rating, attracting the night’s largest audience.

Fox: Leading out of a slightly inflated episode of The Mick (3 mil/1.1), Bones (3.7 mil/0.9) surged 22 percent in total viewers while ticking up 4 percent in the demo.

NBC: Airing at 9 p.m., The Wall (5.5 mil/1.4) was off 16 and 12 percent week-to-week.

In other ratings notes, The Big 4’s coverage of President Trump’s Supreme Court averaged a combined 19.9 million total viewers and a 4.0 demo rating with CBS’s coverage averaging the largest overall audience (7.4 mil) and NBC scoring the strongest demo rating (1.2).
