Why We Ship It: OMG do we ship it! Okay me…I ship it! Hard like OTP of all OTPs. It’s a slow-burn to end all slow-burns. I don’t even have room here to list all the ways these two are absolute perfection for each other but I know I really don’t understand why it’s not as universal as it should be. I mean what is unequivocally the reunion of lovers of in the season five premiere. And then we have all of these moments from the entire series. The show has remained decidedly annoying about the will-they-or-won’t-they aspect. It’s something that has come up in almost every interview with Norman Reedus and/or Melissa McBride. And it makes sense not to say anything one way or the other because really their interactions do all the talking.

Can’t wait to see what happens when Daryl finds out that Carol is alive and well at the Kingdom. It’s probably too much to hope that they finally go canon but it’s really not hard to make me happy when it comes to these two. They just deserve so much! I mean Carl has gotten more action that Daryl! And Carol so deserves to have nice things after everything she’s been through! Seriously how much longer do we have to wait for that season five scene in “Consumed” to have a naked repeat version!
