‘APB’ Season 1, Episode 8 Exclusive: Murphy Wants To Dine And Investigate

Determined to prove that the latest fire at a gang-run building was more than meets the eye, Detective Murphy makes it her mission to uncover the truth.

“I’ve got a hunch. I can’t explain it, but I can’t shake this feeling that this isn’t a real gang war,” Detective Murphy (Natalie Martinez) confesses to Gideon (Justin Kirk) in the opening moments of our exclusive sneak peek from tonight’s newest episode of APB which finds the team investigating  a fire at a gang-run building.

This Monday on a new APB, yet another fire hits a gang-run building leaving the department believing that it was simply set in an act of gang retaliation. However, the deeper Detective Murphy digs into the details, the more sure she becomes that this was much more than an attack made by one gang to hurt their rivals.

“I mean if the Hustlers and Kings really wanted to kill each other, all it would take would be like some drive-bys. Both of those gangs are armed to the teeth. Why burn down a building full of immigrant families?” Detective Murphy ponders. “I just combed through the records and before last month, there’s never been any history of arson  with either one of them.”

When Gideon fails to take her suspicions seriously, though, Detective Murphy decides that there’s only one way to get other bottom of things: dinner with Andre!
