On Thursday, May 4, fans across the globe will come together for a day of celebrating one of the biggest pop culture franchises: Star Wars. It’s a day dedicated to celebrating all things Star Wars through the annual May the Fourth be With You campaign which unites fans from all over the world as they rally behind the iconic franchise and its beloved characters.
As Star Wars fans prepare to celebrate George Lucas’s legendary franchise, BritBox is preparing to celebrate a far stronger force, a force known in the British Empire as Colin Firth!

This May, BritBox invites fans to join them for the first-ever May the Fifth be With You celebration which looks to give Firth’s fans the chance to relive some of his most memorable roles while also presenting the opportunity to see new never-before-seen in the U.S. footage of Firth’s television appearance on Crown Court!
Among the titles set to lure fans to the Darcy Side on May 4 are his aforementioned debut television role in Crown Court, 1986’s hidden gem Lost Empires, the thrilling 2006 drama Born Equal, 1991’s The Play on One: Out of the Blue, the must-see 1985 flick Dutch Girls and what many consider to be Firth’s most beloved and iconic films 1995’s Pride and Prejudice!
